The tuition available at the London Golf Club Academy is provided by our outstanding team of PGA Professionals. The team is headed up by Paul Stuart and has a wide range of experience and a proven track record with players at all levels. Outstanding Facilities

Enjoy our fantastic 330 yard turf driving range with Callaway practice balls. There are also two practice greens, two practice bunkers, and a chipping green.


Paul Stuart

Head Professional

Paul enjoyed a successful playing career culminating with England honours in 1995 and a spell on the European Challenge Tour in 2000. Learning from his experiences playing, Paul has developed into a highly respected coach with a proven track record in coaching at every level. Using the knowledge gained from working with top coaches such as former Ryder Cup Player George Will and Staysure Tour Professional Bill Longmuir, he has gained an extensive knowledge of the golf swing.

Renowned for his coaching of the short game, Paul also specialises in hosting Corporate Golf Events and Pro Ams. Paul utilises the latest coaching tools and technology including Visio Putting, TrackMan, and Hackmotion. In developing the LGC Academy, Paul has started working with Gavin Ryan, TPI Certified Expert, providing golfers the opportunity to better understand how the movement of the body affects the golf swing. In 2019 Paul was honoured to be named the PGA South Region Coach of the Year.

Nick Taylor

Golf Mindset Coach

Work with a Golf Mindset Coach in the same way you work with a golf professional. Have 1:1 sessions on the practice ground, in the clubhouse, and on the course. Nick is a friendly and approachable Coach who specialises in working with golfers to improve mental aspects of golf performance, either to achieve performance goals or to increase enjoyment. Explore what is holding you back, reflect on your habits and your behaviours to develop your mental game. This will improve focus, increase your enjoyment, and your ability to cope with pressure, nerves, and setbacks.   

Golf Mindset Coaching ensures you are able to compete, improve and get the most from your golf. Reach your potential whether amateur or professional. 

Nick has a warm and straight-talking approach, helping his clients to establish what is realistic and possible.  Nick is friendly and compassionate, with a good sense of humour, encouraging a reflective approach to make progress with his clients.  Think of Nick as a critical friend, asking questions designed to provoke reflection and challenge your thinking. 

Nick is a Level 7 qualified Advanced Executive Coach, and experienced teacher with a degree in Physical Education. He holds NLP and psychometric behaviour-trait profiling and has vast experience working with individuals with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. 

George Albone

Assistant PGA Professional

George played elite-level golf throughout his junior career securing a US scholarship and playing in America before returning to study and play at the University of Birmingham from which he graduated with a degree in Applied Golf Management.

As a fully qualified PGA coach he has a keen eye for the game and strong knowledge which he has gained from both formal study and personal experience, including individual tuition from PGA Tour Coach, Matt Belsham. 

As part of the London Golf Club team, he is available to deliver individual lessons for members and non-members of all ages as well as providing club fitting and repair services.

Tuition available from £55 for 45 minutes.

Anna Smith

Anna spent four years at an American University on a golf scholarship. After graduating, she qualified for the Ladies European Tour, where she spent the next seven years playing golf around Europe and the rest of the world. Anna found her passion in teaching after she finished playing and now brings her wealth of experience to help her students. Anna enjoys teaching all levels of golfer from beginners to the elite. Anna also runs and enjoys teaching junior workshops during the Easter and Summer holidays.

James Burroughs

Performance Coach

James is a Performance Coach and is working in the private training studio at the club. James is an experienced performance coach, nutritionist, and specialist in weight loss, athlete development, and all aspects of performance coaching.
