The Heritage

A classic Jack Nicklaus course, which forces you to consider every shot. Dramatic tee shots and daunting approaches make this course both memorable and challenging. Host to the 2008 & 2009 European Open, the course is maintained to the very best standards all-year round.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest downland courses in Europe. Fast, undulating fairways allow you to chase the ball into position. The course is punctuated with exciting risk and reward tee shots over water that really get the heart pumping.

This version is special for a few reasons. Firstly, the club celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024.

It’s been three decades since our courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ron Kirby officially opened in Kent. This vision of creating a world-class golf venue just outside London was realized by former owner Mr. Masao Nagahara.
