Principle Purpose of Position
- To increase member satisfaction and service level through enhanced offerings and tailored communication.
- Providing support to the Golf department to achieve desired retention & sales levels.
- Maintain full compliance with member records on ESP (CRM System).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains full compliance with member records on ESP.
- Create and integrate a comprehensive member CRM system.
- Data to include Family details, car, holiday destinations, favourite apparel brand, football team, wine, sports etc. Hosts numerous member golf days including Member Guest Day, Construction Cup, the PGA Pro-Am & Members Appreciation Day.
- Coordinates and hosts numerous Member Away Days including the Signature League, both home & away matches.
- Responsible for all member communication and report to the Director or Golf – updates, subs, renewals, benefits & policies.
- Business Development with local & regional businesses, charity groups & community organisations to promote London Golf Club member benefits/reciprocals.
- Undertake regular reviews on reciprocal agreements including lifestyle benefit arrangements (i.e., hotels in London).
- Responsible for the process of all reciprocal bookings inbound and outbound.
- Maintains active communication with the membership including the service of sending birthday, wedding and member joining anniversary cards.
- Screening initial membership enquiries and converting prospective members.
- Responsible for the coordination of all member renewals.
- Coordinates selected member events including Construction Cup and Member Guest Days.
- The full onboarding process for new members with 15, 30 & 60day phone calls.
- Scheduling membership meetings and show rounds.
- Member tee sheet management with correct guest rates and corporate levy.
- Identifies opportunities for personal member invitations to selected events.
- Member ESP/website & application usernames & passwords. Personal contact for all members.
- Supporting the golf reservations department with membership and guest enquiries.
- Communicate membership surveys and gather the results. Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Director of Golf.
- To ensure the regulations of the Health & Safety at Work Act are fully met, including COSHH and comply with standard employee health & safety at work responsibilities.
- To participate in any relevant training for the duties of this role and to achieve the key objectives of London Golf Club.
- To comply with the London Golf Club Equal Opportunities policy.
Financial
To ensure all financial regulations and procedures are adhered to in relation to cash handling at London Golf Club.
Personal Profile, Qualifications & Experience
- A full commitment to member and guest experience.
- A friendly, kind, and positive personality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask.
- Must be a problem solver and service oriented.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- A good knowledge of the industry would be beneficial
- Must have a good telephone manner and be able to work as part of a team.
